Judge allows 9-11 lawsuits

Forgive me if this was posted before the last two pages. It's something too important to miss.

U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein has said in a 49-page ruling that the airlines should have included the hijackings of September 11 and their consequences as a foreseeable risk.

The victims of 9-11 have another venue for recourse. It won't bring them back.

The first flight I ever made was on an American Airlines 727 to, of all places, Washington, D.C.

I used to do air freight out of Chicago. My favorite airlines were United, American, and Delta. Two of these airlines may be sued out of existance.

Though I doubt either is a member of DU, I'll just take this time to bid a fond farewell to Henry at UA Accounting and Hans Schnabel at AA Air Freight. (By now, they're probably both retired or dead.)
