Half the world's children threatened by extreme poverty
Edited on Thu Dec-09-04 08:21 PM by GHOSTDANCER
ROME - Extreme poverty threatens the lives of more than a billion children around the world, according to a report from the United Nations children's agency.

UNICEF's annual report said that more than half of the world's under-18s were affected by poverty in one way or another, and in effect being denied the basic rights of childhood.

More than one billion children do not have access to at least one of seven commodities deemed essential: shelter, water, sanitation, schooling, information, health care and food, according to "The State of the World's Children" report, launched Thursday in London.

2. True #1
Bushco has contributed to this problem by witholding family planning funds globally.

His global corporatists need that hungry population to work as cheap labor. He's increasing the hungry in this country for the same purpose. Not only will his buds have the illegal immigrants to work cheap, he's raising a home-grown cheap and desperate labor pool.

Four more years of hell!

Get up off your lazy poor asses and get a job. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps. Stop your whining, and get out of the way of my hum-vee.

5. Republicans - The party of the UnChristian Children abusers
On a religious basis, Jesus said "suffer not the little ones".

They construe that as a license to exploit the kids.

6. As a Brit humorist put it a long time ago:
You have to take the money where it is: from the poor. It is true that the poor don't have much money. But they're very numerous.

7. If they are poor, ill, or unemployed, then they are lazy and deserve it"
even if they are children that never asked to be born or did anything to compel any one or society to treat them so inhumanely?

Soon they will be able to be perpetual slaves to the churches that will have eminent domain over all social issues?

According to the new Christian based sciences, this is the great equalizer that will allow all humans everywhere to be the best that they can be and to rise from servitude to the elites to be an elite themselves and to truly know liberty and freedom?
