Schwarzenegger Opts to Keep Tax Returns Private
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has broken with tradition and declined to release his tax returns, saying it could compromise a blind trust he set up to manage his wealth after winning office, an aide said on Thursday.

The former Hollywood action star, who has declined to accept an annual salary of $175,000 as governor, set up the trust last year to avoid conflicts of interest.

"To keep it blind from the governor you have to keep it blind from the public," said Schwarzenegger spokesman Rob Stutzman.

But his office did make public some key facts.

2. Is this the same trust that he
is using to skirt campaign financing laws? Since he and his staff have been sucking up to the special interests, a big stink has been being made about his ignoring certain laws regarding gifts and contributions.

That's prolly his impetus behind this move-The blowhard!

5. WE didn't do anything, DIEBOLD did.
Every time I hear "Governor Schwarzenegger", I have to slap myself to see if I'm dreaming.

My face is really sore.

7. Hhhmmmmm . . . all sounds logical to me . . . after all, a blind trust
cannot remain blind if it's public. Yup. B-)
