230 U.S. Air Force cadets test TB positive

The U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado says more than 230 of its 4,200 cadets have tested positive for exposure to tuberculosis.

The cadets were tested during the past two weeks as a proactive effort to identify any additional cases after one cadet tested positive for active tuberculosis in August, KMGH-TV, Denver reported.

Academy officials warned the number may increase as the remaining cadets complete testing. No new active cases have been reported.

They said a positive result for tuberculosis exposure does not indicate an active TB case.

Ya have to wonder about the Health officials there!!!

Never had it but I think you just have to be around some one.It is also getting to be a harder thing to cure. It has become stronger or something over the years.
