Arab astrologer predicts Bush assassination
Edited on Fri Dec-31-04 02:42 AM by Lori Price CLG
Arab astrologer predicts Bush assassination --Oracle famed for prophesying deaths of Diana, Yassin, Arafat

A Tunisian astrologer who reportedly predicted the deaths of Princess Diana, Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and Yasser Arafat says President Bush will be killed by an assassin's bullet in 2005.

So seriously are Hassan al-Sharibi's predictions taken in the Arab world that a similar prophecy about Palestinian Liberation Organization leader Mahmoud Abbas has resulted in increased security around the candidate to replace Arafat as president of the Palestinian Authority.

Abbas' aides put a "great deal of credence" in the prediction, according to a source quoted by the Jerusalem Post.

However, the paper tempered its report by saying critics label Sharibi "a quack with flair who relies on logic and wishful thinking..." <snip>

18. Bush responds to Astrologer's belief someone will assassinate him
(make sure you read it in his hurried comical voice when he gets all excited about a reporter's question)

"yes, I'd like to address the alleged belief that I'm going to be assassinated in 2005, by this Sheik Abu Garef-Abil. uh. you see, these people want to terra our citizenship with these fanatical and fabulously outlandish predictions. I would like to say to the terrists, bring it on, uh, no, wait, that's not what I meant to say... they will never stop trying to find new ways to harm our people, and neither will we, um, wait, I seem to have lost my train of thought, I guess I need to learn to be um, better, at communicating, pardon me as I check my notes --- What I mean to say, is that Merika will not be bullied by these preminitions that this man will kill me, these are the beliefs of a madman, a voodoo-moolah preacher, if you will, and George will not be bullied, look at camera and sternly warn terrists. mr. Abil Sheik Mohammed, if you want to mess with me, do so in private, do not intimidate the people of Merika with your fabulous ideas... as they say in spanish ----- "YO TU EE-HO A-WHORE-A" --- translated in Merikan -- YOU'RE MY BOY NOW---, so don't mess with Texas, you got me? Thank you & God bless Merika"

If only I could find that picture of him walking outside the WH in that BLACK TRENCH COAT & TAN COWBOY HAT & SHADES with the Secret Service looking at him like, "yeahhh... that's about right!"

Run down by the Imperial Guard, when they decide he is dangerously crazy.

On edit - If he has a horse run for Senate in a safe red state in 2006, consider it a bad sign.

8. also predicted the sudden death of Saddam Hussein before his trial begins
Sharibi also predicted the sudden death of Saddam Hussein before his trial begins.

"The Middle East region will be sitting on a volcano in 2005, and the situation in Iraq will get even more dramatic as Saddam Hussein is expected to die suddenly before his trial even starts," Sharibi said, according to a report by United Press International.

...you forgot that Bush can't be assassinated like other leaders. Shooting him in the head, for example, would do no damage, since there's nothing up there in the first place.

I mean, do you ever see him out in public? Clinton had tight security, but he at least visited Mickey Dee's every now and then. They're obviously worried about someone taking him out.

After all, it's such HARD WORK just being pResident.

It seems so unlikely he'd really put himself out too long doing physical "work," when he has successfully avoided it so well already.

25. Oh, there will be a "thwarted assassination attempt"...
stage managed by his handlers.
The results:
Proof that he is God's anointed one (since he was spared)
A further crackdown on civil liberties
Restrictions on the internet (where the "conspiracy" was fomented)

Mark my words

40. Totally agree. Karl Rove probably has a bonus if the so-called
"assassin" grazes * and leaves an impressive but superficial flesh wound.

Result:
1. STAT lock-down. Code Red Homeland Security style.
2. Close airports.
3. Close borders.
4. Military crosses borders into Syria and Iran with a little
back-up from Israel.
5. * blinking bravely into the cameras. Says it wasn't a personal
attack on me, it was an attack on all of us, Americans. We will
fight back.

My bet: the inauguration.

Edited on Fri Dec-31-04 06:03 AM by FDRrocks
and it will be a boon to the fundamentalist trend going on in this country.

The way Bush peddles his lis so subversively drives people insane. It drives me insane, but I don't murder people. Other people, well, are Hinckleys.

And then our benevolent leader will be Cheney, then Hastert. The person would have to be off their rocker. It wouldn't change a thing.

29. could you imagine the backlash against democrats and civil liberties?
if something like that were to happen to bush, and the person committing the crime were a rank and file democrat, or even a person with leftist leanings, bush's base will go nuts.

there would be spontaneous violence against regular folks. the constitution would be thrown out the window entirely. the already secret govt would conduct no business in public.

they're already planting the seeds of the "angry left" and "violent left" in people's minds. i'm afraid something like bush's assassination would ignite something scary.

of course, most of those republicans who went off on democrats would end up with black eyes, crying to their talk show hosts.....

33. The Zero factor...
You know, how every president elected in a "zero year" since 1840 has died in office? Yeah, I know Reagan supposedly broke the curse, but he DID almost die in the assassination attempt by Poppy's "Manchurian Candidate" (Hinckley).

However, the Stingy Chimp wasn't really "elected" in 2000, so he 's probably safe...

Personally, I think his Karma will lead him to a jail cell ultimately, not to an early grave...

35. This would be the worst thing ever
Bush becomes the fallen hero "who just wanted to fight terra and pertekt the nation", more civil liberties get tossed, Liberals get blamed and attacked endlessly for months on cable news and talk radio, The 'mood' of the nation will be somber, Cheney become president (officially), we'll lose more seats in 2006, etc, etc.

Since Reagon didn't die from the attempt, maybe the 'curse' is broken.

39. I'd so much rather see the Eumenides pursue him...
... to the ends of the Earth. At some point all this hubris has got to bring down the curse of the gods on his head, and on his descendents unto the third generation. It would make great Greek tragedy, wouldn't it? Dubya, forced by the vengeance of the Furies to confront the consequences of his actions, goes blind; Jenna spends the rest of his life leading him by the hand from one town to another, hoping in vain to escape the revulsion he inspires in people.

But no assassination, please. He'd be turned into a godly martyr in the global war on terra, and his death would be the next big excuse to finish demolishing the Bill of Rights. We, the people, would be so f****d it would be pathetic. Don't even think it.

Bush would never leave our lives if this happens. We would never hear the end of the tragedy of "The Martyred 9/11 President". Monuments and Bush's face on our currency would follow.

Oh yeah, and the Mideast wars would never end. It would become a fully embraced Crusade at that point.
