Lawyer: Iraq's 'Mrs. Anthrax' has cancer
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/I/IRAQ_MRS_ANTHRAX?SITE=TXSAE&SECTION=MIDEAST&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- An Iraqi lawyer said Friday that one of Saddam Hussein's former top scientists, known as "Mrs. Anthrax," has cancer and is dying in U.S. custody where she has been held for more than a year.

A U.S. military spokesman for detainee operations in Iraq refused to comment on the report that Huda Salih Mahdi Ammash has cancer. "I am not able to discuss the health condition of our detainees," said Lt. Col. Barry Johnson. "Certainly we have medical care available to take care of any detainee".

Lawyer Badee Izzat Aref said he was told by his jailed client, former deputy prime minister Tariq Aziz, that Ammash had cancer and her health was deteriorating. "He (Aziz) strongly urged me to do all I can regarding the case of Mrs. Huda Ammash because her health is worsening due to cancer," Aref told Al-Arabiya satellite network. "It will lead to her death, no doubt."

Aref called upon Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, President Bush, the Red Cross and other international organizations to "uphold their responsibilities and release her." It was not immediately clear how Aziz could have obtained the information about Ammash's health. Aref had said Aziz told him that he meets with other top Baathist detainees, excluding Saddam, during a three-hour break everyday.

12. No, let's not stop. Rummy is "Secretary Depleted Uranium With No Armor."
And Colin Powell is "Secretary Lied About WMDs."

Let the names begin...

2. American propaganda machine
Those guys at CIA and the Pentagon have got do better than that if they want to create a monster. "Mrs Anthrax" what a crock of shit. It's like they want us to believe that she was so infamous for her participation in Iraq's weapons programs that the grunts on the battlefield were calling her that and anticipating her capture after the fall of Baghdad. I doubt that any American G.I. knew who the hell she was before that. American propagandist bullshit!

3. yep just like "Chemical Ali"
Whoever that was. You'd think they'd come up with some better boggie man/woman names than these idiotic things wouldn't you. Of course given the source, what else can one expect?

The propaganda is wearing thin ... well at least around here anyway thank God!

Look at the other names they give out.
Our "president" gives reporters names like "Stretch", and \calls the dictator of Russia "Pootie Poot"..
The names of their "missions" are stupid too.. "Operation Enduring Freedom"..

They are comicbook/tv-show/video game inspired names.. or perhaps someone's been watching too many James Bond movies :(

Most Americans really get off on that kind of shit. Funny.

9. My personal fave: "Operation Plymouth Rock".
Just another name for "going in and bombing the shit outa' some town", but was cleverly timed for that day of the year when America would be sitting down and stuffing their faces...and America lapped it up. (or, rather, they didn't even notice. They were "busy"...)

I need a new term for "crass", not to mention "hideous, disgusting low-lifes".

Call me cynical if perhaps I suspect her "cancer" was induced.

14. To avoid her giving
evidence in regard of WMD manufacture in Iraq. You voiced my immediate thought exactly.

No doubt many other supposed Iraqi War Criminals - and potential Whistle Blowers - will die of heart attacks and of suicide preventing them from giving evidence against the West.
