Clark rules out vice presidential bid for now

NEW YORK (CNN)

<snip>
Clark was responding to reports that he and Democratic presidential hopeful Howard Dean, the liberal anti-war former Vermont governor, met in recent days to discuss the possibility of Clark as a running mate.

<snip>
Asked what he thinks of Dean, Clark said he likes "all of the people who are running," admiring them for their stamina, organizational skills and courage. "I think the American people should be really proud of the political process we have," he said.

1. Good, now Dean needs to stop trying to undermine Clark
On one hand Dean is angry because Gephardt is hurting him, on the other hand, Dean tries to undermine Clark with this vice president bullshit.

2. Maybe Karl Rove's working on the Dean campaign
Just kidding! (BTW, Look how Dean is identified - "a liberal, anti-war former governor." Talk about pidgeonholing.)

3. If the right wingers repeated "Dean is black" enough times...
CNN would report it as an unarguable fact.

"Dean, a black liberal, anti-war former governor."

4. Maybe this why he is screwing up so much this week
I have been very disappointed with Dean, No!!! don't even start, I wanted him to be a strong canidate. Hamas, flip flops on even hand. Not looking good. Hopefully Clinton and the DNC told Clark to get in- we need him.

6. No, I mean the DNC, He has been screwing up big time.
I thought Dean was smart and sharp, not after this week. Looks like a very immature campaign. You are talking to some one who use to defend him, btw. You people need to quit blaming everything on the DLC.

Prove it! If it is Bullshit (which is calling me a liar and I don't take to kindly to that) then you prove it, otherwise you are the liar.

9. He didn't flip flop on his "evenhanded" comment
He stands by his position, but apologized for using the term evenhanded, not realizing it was offensive to some people. (I didn't know it was offensive either).

13. Does the fact that no one but a reporter
...ever said Dean had asked Clark about a VP spot? Not the Clark people. Not Clark. Not the Dean people. Not Dean. Get it? It is a media trick. You don't want to fall prey to that, do you?

If you can name any specific source, do it. Thanks.

16. No, not to the DUers who feel "left out" of the game
and cannot stop crying about it. For some reason they cannot see the good in Dean having brought the Democratic Party back from the edge where it was lying after being left there by the likes of Lieberman and Gephardt. It is Dean who has energized the left, not those other cry-baby, punk asses. It is Dean who has awoken the sleeping giant, not those panty wastes.

So all you whiners, at least get your facts straight about Dean. Don't put words into his mouth. Don't make Everest out of an anthill. Peculiarly enough, you sound alot like right wing hate radio, skip the facts, just keep parroting the company line.

Bwwwaaaaaaaah!

17. He'd be trying to get everyone's votes
We're not talking about running as third party candidate, are we? I don't think Clark would do that..or most of the candidates for that matter. So, each of them is trying for every vote in the primaries. Since conventional wisdom has Dean as the current frontrunner, if Clark runs he would certainly want to take votes from him. What has that to do with Nader?

18. Does Clark really have the stomach to deal with Satan?
Hmmmmmmm...........

His decision to run this late in the game shows weakness.

Or it could show he is a spoiler!!!!!!

But, We will have to watch and see which side of the fence
he is on.
