Abu Ghraib pyramids "not wrong."
The lawyer for a US soldier accused of mistreating prisoners at Iraq's Abu Ghraib jail has said the alleged abuses were valid methods of control.

Guy Womack, attorney for Specialist Charles Graner, said US cheerleaders often formed human pyramids. "Is that torture?" he asked, opening Spc Graner's defence on Monday.

The soldier denies charges including conspiracy to mistreat prisoners and assault. The counts carry a tariff of up to 17 years in prison.

What law school did this guy come from?
Is that the best he can do for a defense? I would rather have thrown myself on the mercy of the court than have an idiot like that represent me.

2. And they say that our side over-intellectualizes away evil
While I continue to believe that commanding officers should be held criminally responsible for these outrages, I also believe that the enlisted soldiers should also pay a severe price. A message needs to be sent that "I was just following orders" is not a valid defense of war crimes. That logic was delegitimized at Nuremburg 60 years ago.

4. The chick was fucking around with their dicks, is that ok too?
I know that Americans have a lot of psychosexual problems, but this is just too far, especially when we are talking about Muslims.

5. "Is that torture?"
I don't know. Are they NAKED?

Jesus H. Christ. This is logic? "Hey, just last week I paid a dominatrix good money to put me on a leash and drag me around. Was that torture?" No, it wasn't, you dumb fuck, because you asked for it, you paid for it, and you could stop it if you wanted to. Also, because you weren't surrounded by a bunch of American soldiers laughing and taking pictures. Also, because you're not a prisoner of war being held at the mercy of an occupying army.

For God's sake. CONTEXT, people!

mutter mutter mutter grumble mutter,

The Plaid Adder
