Gunmen Seize Turk, Kill 6 Iraqis in Baghdad --Locals

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Gunmen attacked a hotel in Baghdad on Thursday, kidnapping a Turk who was staying there and killing six Iraqis, local witnesses said.

There was no immediate confirmation from police or Iraqi officials.

Scores of foreigners have been kidnapped in Iraq over the past year. Some have been released -- often following payment of ransoms -- but several have been killed by militant groups.

1. More of the same, I know, but we just cannot accept this as normal

behavior. Murder is never acceptable, especially of Iraqi citizens, since they already hate us. We need an exit plan, and a plan to bring in the world community, especially other Arab and Muslim nations, to bring stability to the instability caused by the invasion.*sigh*:shrug:
