Officials Investigating Marine's Death In Iraq

SAN DIEGO -- Military officials announced Tuesday that they were investigating the death of a Marine Corps corporal from Camp Pendleton who had been killed in Iraq.

Paul C. Holter III, 21, who was from Corpus Christi, Texas, was killed Friday in what was described as a "non-combat related incident." Officials said that an investigation is under way into the incident, which took place at Camp Ramadi, Iraq.

He was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
