Poland votes Bush as top world politician
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=2f604db5177b3491

Poland's top World Politician of the Year for the third straight year.

Polling agency CBOS asked 1,089 adults between Jan. 7 and Jan. 10 to name the world leaders who most commanded their respect in 2004.

Ukraine's new, reformist President Viktor Yushchenko was second followed by United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.

They must really want our military bases moved there. But Politician might be a bad word in Poland ... I know it is in America

Say the word Politician = Liar corrupt etc.. etc... Ya in that case Bush is the topper!!!

What a poll too only 1000 people and they make that claim who is paying the polsters and Oh by the way when is Poland sending more troops into Iraq???

1. I think I read somewhere
that the only nations that a majority of the citizens approve of Bush is Poland, Israel, and Nigeria, I think. Why this is, I don't know.

3. Very strange.
I know Poland wants money. I know Israel wants money. I am left to conclude that Nigeria must be in desperate need of money.

Why else?

18. One night, I read a long exchange of emails between a Nigerian
scammer, and an American (in Seattle?) wasting his time. SoCalDem had posted the link late one night.

http://www.scamorama.com/bigmac.html

Unrelated to that link, the bad news is that a low level Nigerian diplomat in Romania was shot because a Romanian had fallen for the scam, and wanted to get revenge. Sad.

37. That's pretty interesting.
India
Phillipines
Poland

Three countries who are/were considered third world.

Three countries who are/can benefitting from Bush's policies.

A drive to move our nation's economy to where it makes an extra nickel.

1+1=2 still, right?

or is it the new economy?

have worked so hard to overcome the stereotypes brought on by the Pollock jokes of the 80's.

Maybe this is just another bad Pollock Joke.

19. Well my wife is Polish and she can't stand Bush....but there are
other Polish friends that we have that like him. My father in-law is nuts for Bush but even he is having second thoughts concerning his handling of the American economy.

In general Poles are very conservative, I don't think they like Bush as much as they like Americans and American society in general.

Lots of Poles however, DO NOT like it when the 90 day tourist visa issue comes up. Poland is a full member of the EU now, and they still need visas in order to visit the United States. Most other EU countries do not need visas. If this issue is not resolved during Bush's second term, then you can bank on it that they will see the light.

20. As a side note:
Did anyone hear about the two seater aircraft that crashed in the cemetery outside Warsaw this evening?

Polish rescue workers have recovered 100 bodies and expect to find more as digging continues throughout the night.
