Bush: Syria out of step, will seek diplomatic solutions to Iran, N. Korea
WASHINGTON – President Bush said yesterday that Syria was "out of step" with democratic trends in the Middle East while emphasizing that he will seek diplomatic solutions to conflicts with that country, Iran and North Korea.

At a White House news conference, Bush withheld judgment on Syria's alleged complicity in the bombing that killed former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

But he said, "We've recalled our ambassador, which indicates that the relationship is not moving forward, that Syria is out of step with the progress being made in the greater Middle East, that democracy is on the move, and this is a country that isn't moving with the democratic movement."

3. Translation:
Almost all countries in the Middle East have become U.S. puppets. There are only 2 left which are not: Syria and Iran.

If you go back up and replace the word "democracy" with "puppet" and everything fits.
