Baghdad bombs shatter morale of UN staff
Baghdad - Tears of impotence mixed with rage, fear and a yearning for home.

These were the emotions United Nations employees in Baghdad were grappling with on Monday after a second bomb attack in just over a month, which took a heavy toll on already sagging staff morale...

"We have the feeling that 'they' have won once again. We have not yet recovered from the first and here it is happening again," lamented UN spokesperson Antonia Paradela, an official of the World Food Programme.
