Congress Subpoenas Current, Ex-Baseball Stars To Testify On Steroids.
NEW YORK - Major league baseball responded with outrage to congressional subpoenas for Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, Jason Giambi and other top stars, vowing to fight them all the way to court.

Curt Schilling, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro, and Frank Thomas also were summoned Wednesday to testify at the Mach 17 hearing of the Govt Reform Committee...

Also includes a poll that asks if Congress should be involved. 57% are so far saying no.

Looks like no former weightlifting stars currently masquerading as California Governors who have confessed to past steroid use have been ordered to show up as of yet.

2. Why would Congress pay more attention to this than what Bush is doing
to this country? Would they subpeona Condi and others for the lies about 9/11 and Iraq? Of Cheney about the energy policy? Or "Gannon" about his ties with the WH?
