"Baywatch" actress arrested in protest to save GM electric cars
BURBANK, Calif. A "Baywatch" actress and another woman were arrested in Burbank yesterday during a protest to save about 70 G-M electric cars from destruction.

Alexandra Paul played Lieutenant Stephanie Holden on the T-V series. She and a fellow electric car enthusiast were arrested for blocking the path of trucks hauling the E-V-1 electric cars to a recycling plant in Mesa, Arizona.

They were among dozens of protesters holding an around-the-clock vigil outside a General Motors center, where the last E-V-1s have been stored. The vigil began February 16th when the company took back all of the one thousand battery-powered cars it had leased and sent them to the plant. <snip>

5. Ms. Paul isn't just some soulless, mindless bimbo.
From what I've seen, she's conscientious and bright. (No, I don't watch Baywatch. Ever.)

4. Next up, stopping the Japanese hybrids
It will be done, or at least attempted. Keep an eye out for an import tarrif bill. Fuck GM, not that I would have ever bought one anyway, but this move just solidifies it.
