UK praises Sharon's 'peace work'
Now that is a piece of objective journalism isn't it?

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has been praised for his work on the Mideast peace process as he opened talks in London with UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw.

Straw told Sharon ahead of their meeting Monday: "We know the huge amount of work you have been doing to help, in very great difficulties, the peace process between the Israelis and Palestinians and we would like to commend you for that," Reuters reported.

Sharon talked about the need for their two countries to have improved relations.

2. How do you post those barfies?
Same reaction. If Sharon doesn't bulldoze down a house for one hour and keeps putting up settlements, all of a sudden he's for peace.

3. Jesus, it's getting worse:

the fat boy's sleeve now covers half his hand.

Are there no decent tailors in all of Israel? Not one?

The Butcher of Beirut has somehow become a man of peace. He refuses to follow the roadmap, but gets peace awards anyway. It's like the aid the U.S. has been giving Israel all these years: something for nothing. Bush should make him spend some of the billions we give them each year in aid on a few decent suits; if we're going to prop his country up and get nothing in return, the least we can do is insist our client looks presentable.

4. It's not just blair that has got to go
it has to be the entire cabinet, just replacing blair with Gordon Brown and generally keeping the same sort of cabinet, is just no solution what so ever.
