A U.S. soldier has been killed in action in Iraq's western Al Anbar province, the U.S. military said on Monday.

The soldier, who was deployed with the 1 Marine Expeditionary Force, died on Sunday, the military said in a statement. It gave few details on grounds that information could help guerrillas and put U.S. troops at greater risk.

5. Chimp has willingly and willfully and
without any regret sent over 1500 US soldiers to die horrific, bloody, violent deaths in Iraq - not to mention the thousands more missing limbs and/or suffering other traumatic injuries too terrible to contemplate.

His policies have been responsible for the equally horrible deaths and injuries of over a hundred thousand Iraqi men, women, and children.

He sent Texas prisoners to the death chamber with no more interest or concern than an exterminator has for a cockroach.

And we're supposed to think he gives a rat's ass about a Florida woman who's been in a "persistent vegetative state" for the past 15 years?

How does he sleep?

7. The White House doesn't have to release bad news on the week-end anymore
I know in the past that every few days, the media would go wild about one irrelevant story or another. But I don't think I've ever seen this daily intense media rampage pulling at the attention of Americans in one direction after another: Robert Blake, Michael Jackson, Ashley Smith, Jessica Lunsford, steroids in baseball, and Terry you-know-who. There are now more sensationalist stories than there are days in the week.

8. They will never come home
This is a fight for access to global dwindling supplies of oil. We will never leave there. A waste of lives and money that could have been put to use looking for alternative energy.

12. Or developing technology and infrastructure to exploit
...other hydocarbons with greater longevity than light oil. The hundreds of billions wasted on war could have been used in new Manhattan project. The current development of new energy technology is pathetically small given the developing shortages.

13. KIA: 1522, WMD: 0
Bill Clinton would have been dragged out of the Oval Office in cuffs, chains and leg irons (the Susan McDougal models) long before this point. He would be in solitary, under suicide watch and guarded by a thousand Marines as millions of pages of charges were drawn up by somber-faced Member$ of Congre$$. Yet bu$hler is adored by the masses.

"Republicans good, Democrats baaaaa-aaad!"
