KABUL, July 14 (Reuters) - A car carrying two U.S. personnel was hit by an explosion in the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday evening but authorities said it was an accident, not an attack.

Police said no one was hurt.

"It is not a terrorist attack. The car battery exploded," Interior Ministry security official General Din Mohammad Jerhak told reporters at the scene.

An Afghan military official said the driver and the passenger were U.S. military men driving to the embassy. A U.S. embassy official said he had no information about the incident.

1. Yeah, sure. Happens all the time here...
Hardly a day goes by here in Madison, WI where a car battery doesn't just spontaneously explode loud enough to be heard for blocks.

2. We have a lot of those here in Wagoner, OK too. Those damn batteries

I'm thinking it's time for a double shot of Crown Royal. Jeezus...
