Clark advised Congress July: Accept 5 year $245Billion Occupation of Iraq
"I think that the American people deserve to know where every candidate on this stage stands on this issue, because we were each provided with a document--a security document that more or less advised us to stay the course, don't cut and run, commit up to 150,000 troops for five years at a cost of up to $245 billion.

A matter of fact, General Clark was one of the authors of that document that was released in July."

-----This is what Dennis Kucinich said in Thursday's debate. I found it in the Washington Post transcript of the debate.

(Mod's-I started this in the General Discussion Forum but this qualifies as late breaking new so I've moved it over here.)

1. Where is the document he's talking about?
It would be interesting to see.

2. Kucinich just outed him on this. I want to know what document, too.
When is the next debate? Are reporters going to jump on this and get answers out of Clark? I'm sure Kucinich will elaborate if asked. I'm getting flamed by some Clark supporters for suggesting he ain't all on the up-and-up. I wish folks wouldn't be so attached to a candidate that info. is irrelevant to their loyalties.

4. Many of us want to beat Bush at all cost
I respect everyone's right to support whatever candidate they want, but I will support those who I think can win against Bush, regardless of whether I agree with them on all issues.

In my opinion, Clark can win and Dean might be able to win. The others, I'm not sure right now.
