North Korea Denounces U.S. Defense Chief

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- North Korea called U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld a ``psychopath'' and a ``stupid man'' on Saturday, denouncing him for predicting that the country's isolated communist regime will one day fall.

Speaking before a group of U.S. and South Korean businessmen, Rumsfeld said last week that freedom will eventually come and ``light up that oppressed land with hope and with promise,'' casting aside the dictatorship that has ruled the North for more than half a century

6. If it weren't the election season...
I'd find it near-impossible to agree with the absolute dictator of North Korea. Used to be, progrerssives would be incapable of finding common cause with dictators. But times being as they are, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Nonetheless, allow me to inform our many lurkers that at least DU leftist unambiguously DENOUNCES the North Korean regime as a threat to peace and an important target for focused UN SECURTIY COUNCIL deliberation.

9. Yup. MSNBC and others are carrying that Reuters headline intact.
Oh what a difference a year (or two) makes! It's been a long dry spell. Still, what's leaking through the dam is but a small part of the projectile diarrhea emitted by these protofascists since 12-12-2000.

I'm not sure -- I think Rummy is actually the more dangerous and delusional of the psychopaths. He's actually carried out his craziness by taking us to two wars against defenseless people, believes that nuclear weapons (new minis) are an appropriate weapon to use, co-wrote with the other neo-crazies a vision of an imperial, militaristic America that would consider weapons targeting specific genotypes politically viable, etc.

The North Korean crazies can only dream of being as crazy as Rumsfeld!
