Bottle factory workers may strike (Saint-Gobain Containers / IL)
Union, company hold talks in Florida while midnight deadline looms

About 150 hourly employees in two locals of the Glass, Molders, Pottery, Plastics and Allied Workers International Union at Lincoln's Saint-Gobain Containers bottle factory today prepared for a possible strike at midnight. <snip>

Meanwhile, 11th-hour contract negotiations continue in Florida today on behalf of union members at 16 Saint-Gobain plants, company spokeswoman Tina Gaines said from corporate headquarters in Muncie, Ind. <snip>
