3. How sobering
while I've been screwing around, posting inane posts in the Lounge, more people are dying. I am SO sorry for their families. I can't imagine the grief and rage they must be going through.

(that second picture is particularly stunning, isn't it?) :(

Not on any "front page" or "back page" I can find. Not in US news, world news... I just saw on the DU about a soldier killed so I did an internet "search" and found these two which are out there but not linked to a page where people can see them!

You tell me are American soldiers' families' tolerating this?

This story came out 1 hour ago but not linked:

funeral when our American children are dying in Iraq? Shouldn't aWol be spending 100% of his time talking with leaders, negociating with allies... doing whatever it takes 100% of the time to get our children out of Iraq and/or find a method to stop and/or safer conditions for our children in Iraq?

How much money will this trip cost the US taxpayers? I say at least US$30,000,000
