Diary entries and autopsy photos can be used in Akbar trial
http://rdu.news14.com/content/your_news/fayetteville/default.asp?ArID=66888

Some diary entries from an army sergeant, who allegedly attacked fellow troops just after the invasion of Iraq, can be used in his upcoming court martial.

Hasan Akbar is also accused of stealing grenades from a humvee and using them and a gun that killed two officers.

A judge ruled Monday that autopsy photos and some diary entries could be used.

Jury selection gets underway at Fort Bragg Wednesday.

From what I heard on the news this morning, only diary entries in a time period close to the attack could be used.
