Insurgent Violence Escalates In Iraq
Hundreds of Iraqis and foreigners have either been killed or wounded in the last week.

"Definitely, violence is getting worse," said a U.S. official in Baghdad, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

2. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that our fearless leaders were
telling us that conditions in Iraq were improving? Was gonna bring home thousands of troopers home cuz the insurgency was at an all time low point.
