3G mobile signals can cause nausea, headaches
Radio signals for the next generation of mobile phone services can cause headaches and nausea, according to a study conducted by three Dutch ministries.

The study, the first of its kind, compared the impact of radiation from base stations used for the current mobile telephone network with that of base stations for new third generation (3G) networks for fast data transfer, which will enable services such as video conferencing on a mobile device.

A base station, which usually covers a "cell" area of several square kilometres, transmits signals to mobile phones with an electromagnetic field.

"If the test group was exposed to third generation base station signals there was a significant impact ... They felt tingling sensations, got headaches and felt nauseous," a spokesperson for the Dutch economics ministry said.

4. anybody consider increased radio signals might be part of kids'
attention deficit problems? OK, I think a lot of it is too many kids in a class/too little time actually raising kids, food and/or additive allergies and just the generaly mayham of our too busy culture, but I know some signals make me edgey and small people are more responsive to environmental influences. I really think all the waves in the air have an affect on many of us.

6. Thanks for that, ElsewheresDaughter
Any links to info? It is one of my pet concerns. I know there are some stores I cannot go into without getting immediately ill and think it has to do with security devices that transmit certain frequencies. Have observed tha same in others I know to be very sensitive to changes in environment.

Feel free to PM me with any sources I might use in my quest. I also wonder about the near universal use of ultrasound on a fetus. Talked to a couple of doctor friends I trust and they admitted no one really knows if safe or not, just all use to avoid malpractice suits. Things that make ya go "hmmmmmmm...." The brain/nervous system works by using electirc impulses (with 'wiring' using chemicals) doesn't it? Seems any big electric (radio) wave and/or chemical exposure could have consequenses.
