NEW YORK (Reuters) - Murder is the leading cause of work-related deaths among journalists and most of those killed on the job were not caught in cross-fire in conflict zones but hunted down and murdered, the Committee to Protect Journalists said on Monday.
A study tracking work-related deaths of members of the media since January 1, 2000 found that the Philippines was the most murderous country, followed by Iraq, Colombia, Bangladesh and Russia, the CPJ report found.
"By failing to investigate and punish the killers, the governments in these five countries embolden all those who seek to silence the press through violence," CPJ Executive Director Ann Cooper said in a statement.

Murder journalists, child rape and child whores all over the streets of the PI (and 1 block from Arroyo's (or Saddam's Palace? I get mixed up!) Palace, the PI has been under the wing of the USA since we installed Marcos "The Butcher" 50 years ago. Before that time the PI was the leader of the region in rice production and other economic and cultural areas... but since being under the wing of the USA and Christianity the PI has become a cesspool of child rapes, child whores, murder, filth, poverty and economic collapse.. Well done America!
Good to know the American Media Whore are right on top of their game bringing the Christian truth to you!
