"So, I get to speak for the Democrats," the vice president retorted, drawing laughter from about 600 people attending a town hall meeting Monday morning at Campbell High School in Smyrna.

That Kendrick, an avowed Republican, had to pose the question and that Cheney was left to answer it proved one thing: This audience was a stacked deck.

1. Potemkin nation

All fake, all Orwellian, all an elaborate construct of Rove to debase the "reality based" crowd.

A "make believe" world for a "make believe" president.

2. Can't the Democrats sue?
If these are taxpayer funded events, what right do Cheney and Bush have to exclude Democrats and other progressives? Can't someone sue to force the RNC to pay for these events? Even if the Dems didn't prevail in court, it would draw a lot of attention to the Republican taxpayer funded propaganda machine.

4. I wish they would
and as you said even if they lose this will get attention. If this is as they say for security reasons why do they have to fear the American people?

7. I wish someone would
People get kicked out at tax-paying events and you're only allowed in if you sign an oath. There has to be some law against this shit.

10. He reminds me of a movie villian
I could see him in black cape giving a dastardly laugh as he realizes another plan to squash the middle and working class of this country.
