Tension is rising in the diplomatic stalemate over North Korea's nuclear program.

At his press conference last week, President Bush excoriated North Korean leader Kim Jong Il as a ``dangerous person . . . who starves his people'' and has set up ``huge concentration camps.'' The president reiterated his commitment to the stalled Chinese-sponsored six-party talks on this issue, but he again ruled out sitting down directly with the North Koreans.

The North Korean government retaliated, calling Bush ``a hooligan bereft of any personality as a human being.'' There will be no solution until Bush leaves office, the statement declared.

The exchange was followed by a North Korean test of a short-range missile Sunday, the first since 2003, apparently intended to send a message to Washington. The U.S. government has expressed concerns that North Korea may be preparing to test a nuclear weapon.

4. Will we ever see pics of the "huge concentration camps"?
Or will we see drawings of them?

5. They are there
North Korea is one of the most horrible places in the world and they have huge concentration camps.

For example Camp 22:

6. So does that mean
We'll initially go in to search for WMD's, but then hang around to bring Freedom and Democracy (it's on the march, you know).

7. North Korea is ticking timebomb
Iraq is a friendly, nice, pleasent country is comparision. If you try to go after North Korea then they'll strike back and very hard as well and the leadership will know no limits, so whatever weapons they'll have they'll unleash against South Korea or Japan in retaliation and then it'll be a big war involving many countries.

North Korea should be handled with caution, but Bully Bush somehow needs to learn that lesson.

10. No, it means we'll keep poking the hornet's nest with a stick
Because it's a really good idea, and "hard work", to infuriate and instigate a madman with nuclear weapons. War = peace. Just keep telling yourself that when you're enshrouded in nuclear winter and World War III gets officially underway.

13. That's not proof. Its a testimonial by an "exile"/"defector".
I have a lot of trouble believing testimonials by such persons. They remind me of Chalabi's Iraqi "exiles" and Cuban CANF "exiles" -IOW liars with a vested interest.

Where are the photos of said concentration camps? Surely, if they exist, there are US reconnaissance photos.

9. Some refreshingly candid and truthful quotes from both men...
Yes, Kim Jong is a dangerous person who starves his peaople and set up huge concentration camps.

Conversely, Bush is a hooligan bereft of any personality as a human being.

It's nice to read world leaders being so honest about each other.
