US 'probes Zarqawi hospital visit'
THE US military is investigating reports al-Qaeda's Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi visited a hospital in the Iraqi city of Ramadi last week, amid rumours the militant Jordanian might be injured or unwell, it was reported today.

...The Washington Post said US officials have offered no details as to why they believe Zarqawi might be wounded or ill, but noted US military officials were recently quoted as saying Zarqawi had left medical information about himself on a laptop computer that was seized February 20.

and in other bogeyman news...

The Iraqi government previously identified the driver as Ahmad Khalid Marad Ismail al-Rawi, also known as Abu Uthman. But the U.S. military said that driver was captured in an earlier raid and identified the one seized Feb. 20 as Mahir Sabah Injil Hinaydis al-Unayzi, also known as Abu Usama.

The U.S. military quoted al-Unayzi as saying during questioning: "Zarqawi became hysterical. Zarqawi did not know where he was because he demanded repeatedly "Who lives in this area? What sub-tribe is here?""

6. Well, Osama's still on the loose
and he's supposedly hooked up to a dialysis machine.

If these idiots tried to play a round of "find your foot", they'd lose.

to the CIA, never out of touch... meaning cell phones, sat phones, laptops...

4. cheers!
Been wanting to do it for a while! There was a character that an Australian entertainer called Rolf Harris (more famous in Aus and UK than anywhere else) did in the 70's called "Jake the Peg" (that's his body, at least, in the photo). Did a little song that went "I'm Jake the Peg, diddle-liddle-iddle-ump, with my extra leg, diddle-liddle-iddle-ump..." With his leg being on/off/on/off/on, I wouldn't be surprised in Zarqawi is getting about with an extra one by now...

10. Andrushka, did Rolf Harris do "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport"??
I seem to remember a novelty record by that name way back, maybe in the 60's or early 70's.....

My brain remembers nothing but stuff like this....

14. Yes he did
He also sang a song that went "Two little boys with two little toys..."

Ah, the "innocent" '70's, eh?

"Tie me Zarqawi down, sport, tie me Zarqawi down..."

8. Could it be that rivals of the dominate clan living in the city
made up a rumor?

The goal would be to get the US military to terrorize the civilian population and speed up the coming civil war.

...he has one leg, now he has two, or three! He is dead, then comes to life! He hops, now he runs. Here today, gone tomorrow. Now you see him, now you don't...
