Dean drops in on Meetup supporters
By Adam Silverman
Free Press Staff Writer

Despite his exhaustion -- Dean said he's gotten less than four hours of sleep a night for the past several days -- Dean delivered a fiery 10-minute address to a crowd that stood the whole time and cheered often.

"Let me thank you for the continued struggle," he said. "This is a struggle for America's values, and I'm tired of listening to the right wing."

He headed to the back door as soon as he was done, shaking hands along the way. In the back alley, camera crews and reporters pressed in on Dean with bright lights and questions.

And then, as though Dean had flipped his presidential-candidate switch to "off," he started his quiet walk to his car.

1. It would have been fun to have been there
I did attend a Meetup with Joe Trippi's kids.

2. That was a nice story. Thanks.

Me, too, I am tired of listening to them as well.

3. I saw & heard the Doctor twice
on Tuesday. At the breakfast, he took questions from the group. He answered each question dead on & w/ clarity. His speech @ Union Station was short, 2 the point and the crowd loved it. His energy & passion is remarkable.

4. "Sleepless Summer" is no mere marketing jingle.
This guy never seems to rest. I admire his determination as well as his positions on the issues.
