US Marine dies in Al-Karama west Iraq

BAGHDAD, May 11 (KUNA) -- A US Marine died Wednesday from severe injuries in Al-Karama, west Iraq after armed confrontations.

A statement issued by Multinational Forces (MNF) Wednesday asserted that a US Marine died Monday due to injuries he sustained in combat.

Furthermore, American forces are currently carrying out military missions in the Anbar province, west Iraq near the Syrian borders targeting militant hideouts and weapon smuggling routes in the area.

First I have heard of an organization called
MNF. Sounds glitzier than coalition, more authoritative...
more corporate.
