Bush: Saddam Deceived International Community
Should read: Bush Deceived International Community--a classic reversal if we ever saw one. No WMD, no credibility, uh oh, desparation is setting in...

<clips>

President Bush has again defended his decision to go to war against Iraq, telling reporters Saddam Hussein was "a danger to the world." Mr. Bush said the interim findings by his chief arms inspector in Iraq, David Kay, make it clear that Saddam Hussein actively deceived the international community.

President Bush said Mr. Kay's report shows that Mr. Hussein was in clear violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions limiting his access to weapons.

Mr. Kay told U.S. lawmakers today and Thursday that his team has not found any actual weapons of mass destruction in Iraq - but did uncover evidence of what he termed "activities" related to a chemical and biological weapons program. Mr. Kay said the weapons search is ongoing, and his team of experts will need at least six more months before they can reach any conclusions.

The inspector's interim report prompted Democratic Senator Carl Levin, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, to stress the need to continue the committee's investigation into the use of pre-war intelligence. Senator Levin questioned how the administration's repeated pre-war statements that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction could have been, "so far off." Mr. Levin said the committee will investigate whether the intelligence community or people who used that intelligence exaggerated the threat posed by Iraq.

3. Bush accuses someone of deception?!?!?!
Talk about hypocrisy....I mean that would be like if Rush Limbaugh was taking illegal drugs...oh wait...that would be like Arnold Schwarzenegger calling himself a "Champion of Women"...oh wait...that would be like the Bush Whitehouse talking about operational security....oh wait...

5. That's the pot calling the kettle "a container meant for cooking with"
How ***** is still calling Saddam a threat is beyond me.

How Bush* can say that line credibly is beyond me. Bush has done nothing BUT deceive, and on so many issues as well. The man's got issues. More than I do.

And given the UN's hard work in WMD search, it seems DUMB that the US is now doing the same thing for so long. They will likely plant something too, I'm amazed they haven't already.

8. "So far off" my ass....LIES
I like how the specific "activities" were left out of the article. Not everyone who buys fertilizer for their yard is accused of attempting to make a bomb. Not everyone who buys household items is accused of having a meth lab in their home. I just wonder if these so called "activities" could be synonymous with other activities and Bush is just using Kay as a mouthpiece to further deceive the international community and buy him some more time. Let's see, Kay and his team need 6 more months and the administration wants an additional 600 mill. Then they can come up with conclusions regarding wmd's. I smell deception and it reeks of cover up. I bet there is a whopper of a story in 6 months from now.

But I guess If I were as religious as These guys, I would tell myself anything and everything untill the point It was justified and I firmly believed in the War. Cause I just wouldn't be able to face St. Peter with that on my rap sheet.

Sorry to break it to em but in the words of the soup Nazi;
"No Heaven For You!!!!! Get Out!!!!!"

12. Am I missing something?
Didn't Saddam turn in something like 12,000 pages last December stating he DIDN'T HAVE WMD?!?!?

And doesn't all the evidence now point to that being true?!?!?

Tell me again exactly who the liar is in this picture...

:wtf:
