GIVE HIM ENOUGH GROPE, MAYBE HE’LL HANG HIMSELF
Edited on Sun Oct-05-03 07:57 AM by Skinner
(I swear that's the real headline! The link's at the bottom.)

GIVE HIM ENOUGH GROPE, MAYBE HE’LL HANG HIMSELF
By LINDA STASI

October 5, 2003 -- Arnold Schwarzenegger took time out from his busy schedule of trying to get a "Total Recall" of California Gov. Gray Davis last week to apologize for groping women, but denied that he'd made pro- Hitler comments. His handlers called it all a political smear campaign.

By whom? The gropees? The neo-Nazis?

On the sexual-harassment charges, the beige-haired 56-year-old actor - whose face looks oddly tighter than Cher's - said he was just being rowdy on movie sets, adding, "I have done things that were not right, which I thought then was playful."

Playful? Right. A woman loves it when a stranger or co-worker the size of Macy's tries to strip her bathing suit off in an elevator, reaches under her skirt, or grabs her breast while she's interviewing him.

And about the Hitler mess? Even though Ah-nold said on Thursday that he hates everything Hitler stood for, the fact remains that he was still a big supporter of Kurt Waldheim even after his Nazi past was revealed.

1. How the hell does this end up in a Murdoch fishwrapper?
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm glad to hear this stuff anywhere, but - from Rupert's trashy Post?

Am I in Bizarro World?

5. Murdoch is the first to cut a loser lose
> Am I in Bizarro World?

No, it's a pragmatic "business decision" for Murdoch. Arnold is finished, both politically and professionally. Murdoch knows this and is cutting him loose now. Watch for Arnold's other republican "endorsements" and "endorsers" to suddenly disappear, or change their tune to, "Arnold who?"

Arnold's next career will be on the shopping network promoting his new line of nutritional supplements.

2. That's a headline alright
(psst, I think you have to edit your post to include no more than 4 paragraphs...keep the rush/judgment/made sentence).

11. So you don't think grabbing
a woman's (a stranger at that) breast and or her butt without her permission is assault?

14. Sasty, why don't you go stand at a bus stop in front of a cop
and grab a woman on her breasts or ass and see what happens to you. It is criminal, it is assault, and it will land YOUR ass in jail.

Touching a woman without consent has dire consequences for the toucher--unless the toucher is a millionaire nazi movie star, and then such behavior has the potential to end a political career; we'll see if anything else develops, though.

You, Sasty, need to get real and GROW UP.

16. Or this...
Approach a female officer, grab her breast, pull her onto your lap, ask her if a man had ever slid his tongue up her ass, give her a little spank, then let us know how it works out for you.

18. How would you differentiate the allegations against Arnold
from those against Pres. Clinton? Katherine Wiley accused him of groping along the lines of what Arnold's accusers have described. Juanita Brodderick accused him of something much more serious.

25. well....
Well..... Arnold's assaults have been witnessed by hundereds, if not thousands of people, reporters among them. And, Arnold says, "it's all true."

Clinton's alleged assaults were witnessed by no one and most of his accusers either have a personal beef with Clinton, or were financially catapulted into the spotlight by right-wing financial backers, or both. Investigations into Clinton's alleged misconduct have yielded no evidence suggesting that what allegedly happened actually happened.

The only thing that can be said of Clinton is that he and an intern shared consentual sexual contact.

27. Is Clinton on the ballot?
I know there's a whole bargeload of names you have to look through to find anyone, but I have it on pretty good authority that Bill Clinton is not running for Gov. in CA.

24. what?
I'll give you this, some of what Arnold did could be considered sexual harassment, but a lot of what he did, falls under the heading of sexual assault.

If you came into court with your "baloney" defense, it'd be you that would be laughed out of court.

AND IT'S STILL A CRIME!!!

10. Why don't you ask the author of
the NY Post, the one who said it? If you read the article you will see it is an observation on two dumb guys, Arnie the groper and Rush Limpdick who made asses out of themselves and just happen to be white.

21. It's the entertainment section, by a gossip columnist - so Murdoch
is not as much of a hero. The Hitler thingy is huge in NYC - I wonder why doesn't it get more play in California where it matters? I mean, his campaign "response" was nothing - the transcript diferences were already covered in the NYT piece.
Do you want a Hitler wanna-be in office?
