WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Though no Iraqi weapons of mass destruction have yet been found, Washington's chief inspector David Kay said on Sunday he was confident the search would turn up "remarkable things" in the coming months.

In a series of television interviews, the CIA special adviser and head of the Iraqi Survey Group said much had been overlooked by the media in an interim report presented last week, in which he said no actual weapons had been discovered.

Kay stressed the report concluded that Iraq had a vast secret network of laboratories, including some two dozen hidden in the Iraqi intelligence service and operated while U.N. inspectors were still in the country.

What was it he said, oh here it is...quoting from a cnn article

"I think the American people should be prepared for surprises," said David Kay, a former U.N. weapons inspector who is leading the CIA's weapons investigation. "I think it's very likely that we will discover remarkable surprises in this enterprise."

1. I had to leave before Wolf finished the interview
I saw that they were playing clips of Powell's speech. How did Kay respond to them?

3. All I need is just a few 100 million more
He had a vast network of secret hidden underground laboratories which cannot be found that may have been researching the feasibility of someday creating a plan to manufacture WMD.... Or perhaps something like that...

Or perhaps for a few 100 million dollars more we can keep this thing ambiguous through the next election...

It is more important to keep looking than it is to be conclusive.
