Saddam pictures inappropriate, probe continuing: Myers

Washington, May 29: General Richard Myers, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said today that the recent publication of pictures of ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein in his underwear was inappropriate and that an investigation was continuing.

"I have not seen what we found out yet," Myers said in an interview with a private news channel. "I think we're still in the middle of that investigation.

"We need to find out because it is not appropriate to take pictures like that."
