3. The carnage continues ...
I wish some brave congressman or senator would propose flying the American flag at half mast on a permanent basis until this f'ed up war is over. I mean really over, not "Mission Accomplished" over.

At least then idiots who don't realize we are still in a war because they are too busy keeping up with the Runaway Bride, Snowflake Babies, American Idol and Michael Jackson would be forced to wonder "why is the flag at half mast?" Then again, maybe I'm giving them too much credit for assuming they have that much curiosity.

I'm so sorry for all of the families who have lost loved ones.

4. I couldn't stop this
and I didn't vote for it. And even Kerry would have continued it.

The entire history of this country on and after 9-11 will someday be seen as an entire population descending into hell, but I don't have to go there with them.

To hell with all stuck in this false paradigm. You have created your own damnation. To paraphrase a joke I used to tell about the Soviet Union, the U.S. is the worst "damnation" on earth. And there is literally nothing I can do to rescue it. I just have to be in this country, but not of it.

9. ELEVEN Mississippi Guard soldiers in the 155th killed since January.
"The soldiers trained at Camp Shelby near Hattiesburg before being deployed to Iraq in January.

The latest death brings the total number of Mississippi Guard soldiers in the 155th killed since January to eleven."

President AWOL continues to display his lifelong incompetence.

10. The blood of this Marine is on the hands of Congress!
Last week the House defeated the Woolsey amendment to the Defense Authorization Bill which called upon President Bush to make a plan for withdrawal from Iraq. Although the Woolsey Amendment fell short of Kucinich's proposal for an immediate US withdrawal from Iraq, had it passed it would have been an important first step in bringing this shameful chapter in our history to an end.

As the Congresses of the Vietnam era, the failure by this Congress to even call Bush to account for the Downing Street Memo, a secret British government memo that disclosed that Bush had decided to lie about WMD in Iraq in early 2002, will result in more deaths, American and Iraqi.

Back in the 1970s, Congress refused to repeal the Tonkin Gulf Resolution even though it had been revealed in the Pentagon Papers that the alleged attack by North Vietnamese torpedo boats on the US destroyer Maddox had never taken place. That was the "incident" that moved Congress to give the President authority to escalate the war and introduce ground combat troops in Vietnam.

When is our Congress going to repeal IWR?

The blood of this Marine is on the hands of Congress!
