DC Sniper Suspect Malvo will Plead Insanity: Lawyers (Breaking on CNN)

Clarification:

Kathleen Koke on CNN: Attorneys for suspect Lee Boyd Malvo are planning tomorrow to introduce an insanity defense for their defendant, claiming that he was indoctrinated by the co-suspect in the sniper case, John Lee Mohammed (Malvo). Prosecutors respond that if it was insanity, it was late-blooming insanity.

how in the hell can you argue that someone doesn't appreciate that hiding in a trunk and popping caps in peoples asses is wrong? maybe that the other def had brainwashed him? maybe "radical islam" shall be his defense? this makes little sense without more facts.

The notion that he did not know right from wrong is simply laughable, and he should be PUNISHED for his crimes.
