FBI: Terrorism Task Force Investigating Robbery Suspects
LOS ANGELES -- FBI officials confirmed that a terrorism task force wants to question two men who were arrested Thursday in Torrance.

The men are accused in a string of armed robberies.

The Joint Terrorism Task Force and the FBI are investigating.

The men made a court appearance Thursday afternoon. Authorities identified the men as Gregory Vernon Patterson, 21, and Levar Washington, 25.

"I can confirm that we are investigating them with our partners in the Joint Terrorism Task Force, " said Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman for the FBI field office in Los Angeles.

1. Is there something we don't know?
How does this relate to terrorism? The only "explanation" I could find was this:

...FBI officials said they plan to release more information about the case...

That information must have something to do with terrorism???
