(NH Gov) Lynch says he惻l oppose pardon hearing for Pam Smart

CONCORD, N.H. � Gov. John Lynch will oppose a pardon hearing for Pamela Smart, convicted 14 years ago of goading her teenage lover into murdering her husband.

"Pardon, and pardon hearings, should be reserved for exceptional circumstances," Lynch said Friday in a statement. "Pamela Smart愀 crimes were brutal, she was fairly convicted by a jury of New Hampshire citizens, and received a fair and just sentence."

Getting the governor and the council to consider Smart愀 hearing request is the first step for her to commute her life-without-parole sentence.

The people that actually carried out the murder are getting out!

- one is out already, and another is approaching a parole hearing

OH Yeah

- just a wee detail, they also testified to put the blame on her -

A nice clean conviction for the State

- reward the squealers, or perjurers more likely , for making their conviction rate stand

When decisions are made just on the opinions and beliefs of the majority with no beholding to rhyme or reason

you end up with a murdering President like George W Bush

Democracy as it is practiced in the United $tate$ is sure no way to try to run the world . . .

(sigh)
