Syria Says Has Right to Self - Defense

Syria has the right to exercise self-defense if Israel strikes its territory again as its warplanes did last weekend, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said on Saturday.

``In case of a repetition (of an Israeli aggression) Syria has the right to exercise self-defense,'' spokeswoman Bushra Kanafani told a press briefing in Damascus.

After all

Israel has PROVEN itself to be a Clear and Present Danger

Not to mention Israel is 8,000 miles closer than USA and Iraq

And hmmm

IF the USA suspects that Saddam actually DID transport WMD's to Syria

Would it not be wise to tread lightly?

I don't hear any aggression coming out of Syria

Just My Humble Canuck Opinion
