Too early to blame al Qaeda, says police chief

It is not yet possible to say al Qaeda was behind Thursday's attempted terrorist attacks, London's top police officer has said.

At a press conference on Thursday evening, Metropolitan Police commissioner Sir Ian Blair confirmed there had been four incidents.

On the tube there were attacks at Warren Street, Oval and Shepherd's Bush stations.

A number 26 bus in Bethnal Green was also attacked.

"This has been another difficult day," said Sir Ian. "In each of these scenes attempts have been made to set off explosive devices."

1. I thought that al Qaeda had a monopoly on terror
Well, at least that's the impression I get from listening to Chimpy and Pals.

by killing innocent people". Said today by the idiot Bush...

Where in the world is not "free", that the idiot is speaking of?

Saudi Arabia? Iraq with American & British troops occupying the country?

3. Does that kind of language still resonate with people?
After 9/11, the flowery, emotional patriotic language seemed to make sense. Now, Bush reminds me of an old boyfriend who used to send me flowers and recite poetry to me up until the day I found out he was married! After you've learned the truth, that kind of language seems pathetic, y'know?
