they really are a bunch of nutjobs. I cannot imagine waking up every morning with my teeth on edge hating someone because they had green eyes or blue skin or whatever external "thing" it's fashionable to hate.

They're really treading into deep water hating the "idea" of liberals and the "idea" of immigrants and the "idea" of people doing what they want with their own bodies and lives.

Sounds like "Hispanic" is the word that matters. You can't tell someone's immigration status just by looking at them. In fact, you can't even tell that they are immigrants.

For my class culture project, I made tamales with the help of my grandma and mom. So I took them to class and everyone loved them. Several people immediately asked "Does your mom take orders?" and "where does your mom sell these?"

My mom has an office job. But immediately those people assumed that my mom and grandma made their living selling mexican foods. When a white person brings in ham sandwiches, nobody says "where does your mom sell these? Does she take orders?" It is just assumed that she did that in her spare time.

It is time to start demonizing the very notion of "Republican." Indeed, the very word "republican" AND also "conservative" should be systematically perverted. At EVERY possible opportunity, we should try to work in little mentions about how "that's what you get when you vote republi-CON." Or "ever noticed how most of the people in those hate-groups traditionally vote republi-CON?"

The concept of "republican" and hate-groups, "republican" and hate itself, "republican" and regressive, "republican" and cheating, "republican" and lying, "republican" and extremist, "republican" and Pharisees, "republican" and false gods - all those sorts of connections, should be RELENTLESSLY reinforced. You know, repeated over and over and over so the truth gets out, to sort of catapult the propaganda.

It is VITALLY important that WE go about resolutely POISONING THE WELL against the GOP, just as surely as they did to us, turning "liberal" into a dirty word. We MUST do this. MUST! It is CRITICALLY important to render the idea of voting republi-CON as repulsive to mainstream America as worshipping Osama bin Laden is. That's the way we not only protect our flank but retake the ground from the enemy.

In other words, use the word "Republican" a lot. If one uses the word frequently, the negative associations should come quite naturally.

I'd also propose that we expand our repertoire of curse words to include the word "Republican". Like this:

bm on another board (several, in fact) who are virulently against latinos, hispanics, mexicans (they are all lumped together). the bigotry is definitely not confined to white ractists.

I've been thinking for a while now that the Minutemen, even if outwardly semi-respectable, have some high-level contact with white supremacist groups (though I think it's more the National Alliance than the KKK).
