Most in Miami-Dade have power restored but face no help from FEMA
By Madeline Baró Diaz
Miami Bureau
Posted September 1 2005

Miami-Dade County residents living without electricity neared the finish line as Florida Power & Light restored power to thousands more homes Wednesday.

As of 8 p.m. Wednesday, 21,030 Miami-Dade homes had no electricity. FPL crews were going into the hardest-hit areas to restore power, house by house in many instances. More than 14,000 FPL workers, including some from companies in other states, were working on the electrical problems, according to FPL. <snip>

During the past week, many Miami-Dade residents have been frustrated by the lack of response by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. On Wednesday, the agency said Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties did not have enough Hurricane Katrina-related damage to qualify for individual personal assistance.

That means residents cannot get FEMA help. <snip>

7. There's no election this year
no need for Jeb to send for his brother or share out money.

8. I think the Bush Family have transformed FEMA into mainly a concentration
camp master plan.

After they stage their next 9/11 style disaster, they plan to use FEMA to herd all the opposition into concentration camps, for re-settlement into the "new territories."
