(Katherine) Harris Coffers Not Flush With Campaign Cash
SARASOTA - Katherine Harris has been a fundraising dynamo since the 2000 presidential election, capable of raising large sums of money anywhere in the nation.

But during the first three months of her U.S. Senate campaign, Harris has uncharacteristically struggled to keep pace financially with Sen. Bill Nelson, the Democrat she is hoping to unseat in 2006.

Nelson's campaign team boasts it raised about $2 million between July 1 and Sept. 30.

Campaign workers for Harris, R-Longboat Key, say they don't know how much she's raised but acknowledge she's had trouble.

Why don't you think Bush and all his grateful rich buddies are filling your war chest, Cruella? Speaking of chest, you probably should've had surgery on your face instead.

DeLay has given Harris significant fund-raising help

When House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was indicted this week, U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris lost a key political ally.

Harris spoke at a 2002 fund-raiser put together by the Texas political group that’s central in the investigation into whether DeLay helped solicit illegal campaign donations. As keynote speaker, the Longboat Key Republican was there to talk about her role in the 2000 presidential elections.

Since then, another political action committee DeLay created has given Harris at least $15,000 in campaign money and DeLay has helped her raise thousands more by appearing at her fund-raisers.

DeLay came to Sarasota a few months after the Texas fund-raiser to help Harris raise money. During the Sarasota fund-raiser, DeLay called Democrats “morally bankrupt” and described Harris as a “national treasure.” Harris gave DeLay a Florida “cracker” whip, which he snapped for the crowd.... http://newscoast.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050930/NEWS/509300307

8. She sold her soul to the devil and now she is on her own. Too bad Cruella
No repubs coming to her rescue is quite funny. I think she whored for Bush Co in 2000 and thought her life was made from then on. They don't need her anymore and she is a liability because so many Dems still remember 2000.

13. I've said it once, I will say it again: no way harris can win a free,
fair STATEWIDE race in Florida. She carries the bushco* taint with her everywhere she goes. She is the face of crocked elections in Florida, and the NUMBER ONE REASON America is saddled with the bush* disease.

katherine harris belongs in prison, not in the Senate.

Chew them up and spit them out. Jeb was actually pissed she's running. They won't help her either. My only hope is that a woman scorned turns her into one of the first whistle blowers of this regime.
