Kennedy pulls ahead of Klobuchar in cash [MN-Sen]

GOP Senate candidate Mark Kennedy out-raised DFL hopeful Amy Klobuchar in the third quarter of the year, helping him reverse Klobuchar's cash-on-hand advantage.

Kennedy, a congressman, announced Thursday he had raised $800,000 in the quarter, which ended Sept. 30. Klobuchar, the Hennepin county attorney, said she raised more than $500,000.

Kennedy, who trailed Klobuchar in cash on hand as of June 30, reported $1.5 million as of Sept. 30, compared to Klobuchar's nearly $1.4 million.

The campaign of DFL candidate Patty Wetterling did not return phone messages seeking her third-quarter figures.

If she were the only Democrat in the field this might not be true. Patty needs to go back to the Sixth... Especially if she has no money.

3. I want to see the big and small donor breakdown

How many of Klobuchar and Kennedy's donors are big and small ones? That in-state/out-state question is another good question.
