S. Asia Quake Hits Area Where Osama Hides
The quake shook the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan, where bin Laden is believed to be hiding. However, authorities at this point have no information indicating he's been injured or killed, said a U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the information's sensitivity.

Bin Laden guided the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks aimed at New York City and Washington.

Hopes for bin Laden's death or capture were high in December 2001, when U.S. and Afghan troops surrounded a cave complex sheltering al-Qaida members in Afghanistan's Tora Bora region. But bin Laden escaped and is now believed to be living a relatively isolated existence to evade capture.

The public face of al-Qaida has become a bin Laden mentor, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the organization's leader in Iraq. He has declared war on Iraq's Shiite Muslim majority and, with other Sunni-led insurgent groups, has recently launched a wave of violence that has killed hundreds of people.

1. Great cover for him to move elsewhere now.
I'm sure none of the military in the region are paying attention to him at present.

3. Really now
That must be news to the Pakistanis. I didn't know Osama was in Kashmir.
<snip>
ISLAMABAD, Oct 8: A strong earthquake, said to be most powerful to hit the region in 100 years, is feared to have killed and injured thousands of people and caused massive destruction in northern Pakistan on Saturday, mainly in areas situated close to its epicentre which lay some 95 kilometres northeast of Islamabad in Kashmir.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz disclosed that the quake also killed some 200 army troops deployed in Azad Kashmir, including six officers, and injured another 300.

5. The Afghan border was shook. The epicenter was in Kashmir.
So it's literally true in a very narrow (and useless) sense.

6. Wizard of Orwell.
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Repeat after me- Bin Laden, earthquake, terror, Tora Bora, WMD, in and around Tikrit...

Do not focus on global warming, national debt, alternative energy, health care, Fairness Doctrine, campaign financing...
