Bush: al-Qaida Letter Shows Islam Misused

WASHINGTON (AP) - The United States made public a letter from al-Qaida's No.2 to show Muslims that the radical group is perverting Islam, the Bush administration said Wednesday.

State Department spokesman Adam Ereli said the letter from Ayman al-Zawahri to al-Qaida-linked Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in Iraq shows the nature of the enemy the United States is facing.

"This isn't a question of hearts and minds," Ereli said. "It's a question of bodies and gore. This is a network, a confederacy of evil that will stop at nothing to advance its radical agenda."

whenever I hear bush ragging on others I think he must really be talking about himself. Just insert the word "bush" wherever he mentions others he does not like.

They tried to bring it up 2 weeks ago, but it didn't get any coverage. Now they are acting like its new news. Personally I think that Rove wrote it! Since when does AQ do things by letter and not video....

Saddam didn't have any problem keeping al-Qaida out of Iraq. Bush invades and now there's a real chance al-Qaida will take over.
