Sunni party's Fallujah branch hit by explosion

The Falljah branch of the Iraqi Islamic Party, a main Sunni party in the country, were damaged by explosion on Wednesda

"The insurgents attacked the party's branch office in Fallujah, and the guards fled. Then the insurgents set explosives in the building and detonated it," the source said on condition of anonymity.

"After a while, US troops came and began to search for the suspects," he added.

This incident happened shortly after the Iraqi Islamic Party decided on Tuesday to call on its supporters to say "YES" in this weekend's referendum on draft constitution.
