2. Does anyone know ... ...

...when 1000 was reached last year. I think it was sometime in September 2004. So if you do the math, we lost the first 1000 (March '03 - September 2004) in 18 months. It looks like we will reach the second 1000 in a little over 12 months (September 2004 - October 2005). Is there a graph illustrating this increase?

3. First thing I thought of when I saw #1965 was the year 1965...
"It will take two or three more years of intensive activity to win military victory over the Viet Cong".

5. This misadventure is highly OBSCENE.
Obscene. Noone can tell me the people who support this war care about life. Noone who champions this murderous, reckless, destructive mess cares about anything. And I mean anything. Financial ruin of our country, destruction of highly meaningful artifacts in Iraq, the lives of babies, children, adults, our soldiers, the billion gallons of fuel it has taken to wage. It's all lies, manipulation, distortion. It's only good for a dozen men who own corporations. Evil, filthy rich men. Meanwhile, our teeth rot and we have no health care in America. These same people who care not about life, resist life saving medical research such as stem cell research.

So let the countdown to 2000 begin. And let us not forget what is probably 100,000 dead Iraqis. That is what the party of life stands for. And when the 2000th solier is dead we can celebrate nothing.
