Documents Reveal Abuse at Ranch for Boys

How sad for the boys ...the terrorists are around us ...

POKANE, Wash. (AP) - Newly released documents reveal multiple allegations of sexual abuse stretching back more than 25 years at a home for troubled boys and indicate problems have continued in recent years.

State Department of Social and Health Services records obtained by The Spokesman-Review newspaper for a story published Sunday include five allegations of sexually inappropriate interactions between boys and adults associated with the Morning Star Boys' Ranch in the past decade.

The 871 pages of documents, released in response to a public records request by the newspaper, also include several accounts of molestation and rape among the residents of the home, which has been shaken in recent months by allegations of physical and sexual assaults that date back decades.

Back when I was a young delinquent, it was the big joke, if anyone I knew was sent to "reform school," "watch out in the shower," we'd tell them.

Of course it was probably all the catholic church's fault.

I am in Spokane. This place was touted as such a wonderful, nurturing home for troubled boys for decades. It was absolutely on a pedestal. Whenever the media wanted a warm and fuzzy story, they went out to the Morningstar Boys Ranch.

Word has it that this is tied into the Mayor Jim West Scandal, the County Sheriffs department, and potentially two of our three county commissioners (all republicans).
